It was an amazing week of Books, Books, and Books!

Book week is a time we want pupils to experience reading a complete text. It is vital that pupils are made to develop reading for understanding and gain a love for literature.

This term, we had fun learning activities that took place during Book Week such as: Hot seat, drama, story writing competition, freeze and read, Character day and we did not hesitate to bring parents in to read to the children.

The Last day of book week was crowned by character day: children got to dress up as characters from their favorite book while others chose to represent different professionals.

Rachel Anders states “The journey of a lifetime starts with turning of a page.” Therefore it is our joy as a school to endeavor to nature the love of reading books. We look forward to the next annual book week.
